9:25 pm – Just about a week after the fact: Ger and I were hanging around out in front of Night Flight Comics (having just finished an interview with Laura at IFCL – that is, "I forget the Call Letters" – Radio) which is next to the entrance to the Library getting our pictures took with Mimi and Mike Justice and suddenly we can hear this Library employee giving a tour to a bunch of high school kids and a couple of teachers, pointing at The Last Day display in the window of Night Flight and saying that these two guys will be doing a presentation at the Library tomorrow (bad vital sign. The ad on the back of Following Cerebus had it wrong as well). So, not being able to resist, I walked over and explained that I was one of the guys and actually the presentation is today, not tomorrow. So, then I shook hands with Pete (the tour guide) and then this little blonde girl asked to shake my hand. Sure. So, she starts giving it the "nyah nyah nyah I shook his hand" and I said, "If you've got a piece of paper and a pen I'll do you a drawing." Quick look for a piece of paper and a pen and there I was doing a head sketch of Cerebus with all these kids crowded around. Anyway, I promised to mention Breanna Jackson and Hunter High (5600 W 200 South in the West Valley). Hi, Breanna! Hi Hunter High! Ger got a great shot of them all waving at the camera which he should be able to include in here somewhere.
